I suppose there is nothing new with "first come, first server." It's always been that way. That's where the expression "Early bird gets the worm" comes from.

And this is no truer than on the internet.

However, there is one little part that seems to be left out when discussing this worm getting stuff.... the worm did not just jump into the birds beak. That ol' bird had to do a far bit of scratching and pecking.
